Francesville is a town in Salem Township, Pulaski County, Indiana, United States. The population was 879 at the 2010 census.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 905 people, 357 households, and 252 families residing in the town. The population density was 2,954.7 people per square mile (1,127.2/km²). There were 383 housing units at an average density of 1,250.4 per square mile (477.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.68% White, 0.11% African American, 0.22% Asian, 0.33% from other races, and 1.66% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.33% of the population.
There were 357 households out of which 33.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.7% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.4% were non-families. 26.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 3.09.
